I was watching tv and suddenly there was a black out. It lasted forabout 15-20minutes. By the time the lights were back, i turned on thetv but this time, there were frequent interruptions on short timeintervals. Turned off the tv and thought that it would just go over.Today, i am experiencing the same problem. The picture disappears/turnsblack appearing only two white horizontal lines and i hear two "thug"sounds, background sounds also disappear, and the AVI signal displayappears on the upper left hand corner. Then the picture appears againbut only for a short time until the interruptions again occur. The tvremains "on" the whole time even during the interruptions. The samehappens when i switch to another channel and when i turn on thecable/digital decoder. While i am watching the programs i recorded inmy decoder, the interruptions still persists. I believe there issomething really wrong with the tv. The power indicator does notblink or flash. It is "green" even during the interruptions. In otherwords, there is no way i would be able to count the flashes betweeneach break and thus, it would be impossible for me to interpret wherethe problems stems (based from counting the number of flashes betweeneach intervals). I already checked the connections of the cables andwires to the tv and even pulled the socket before i turned on the tvagain but to no avail Hope anyone can help...i am reeaaaallllyyyyyyy desperate. By theway, i bought this tv just last year in December.

So no blinking but if there is blinking it's more than 10. Do you geth the white horizontial lines every time you turn it on. The other thing is that since you bought it last December you should still be under the 1 year Sony warranty. Not sure if in Norway they have 1 year or 90 day warranty. I assume it's 1 year. What about doing a power reset, where you unplug it for ten minutes and then plug it back in.
