My amp recently stopped sending a signal through the rear outputs to my great dismay, also, although much less pressing since I don't use them, the analog inputs are not working right. Composite video is down, as well as the left channel.

I am not sure where to start with this guy, anyone have a service manual or schematic?

The only thing I can suggest: it might be some bad solder joints. Perhaps others will be able to offer more assistance.

As for the service manual, you can download the DA5ES/DA3ES/VA555ES service manual here. Hopefully it's something simple, good luck!

Thanks for the reply! I'm sure that schematic will be a lifesaver! I will update when I get to it, it looks like it might be over my head, that is a very busy amp...

Are you referring to the PRE OUT's or the speaker outputs?

Where is this setting? My knob jus says "Off" "Main" "Main+3rd Room".  I don't see a setting for the B speakers at all

Just make sure it is set to Main...

Other than that, it must have some internal problem that will require a qualified tech.

    T-Bone,

The "Off" "Main" "Main+3rd Room" is the A+B speaker switch on the DA5ES. It is right above the headphone input jack on the left side of the receiver.

I am going to have my friends dad look at it. He is a geek. I'll update when I know more.
