Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Speakers for....Steve that is really cool.  Of course we want pictures.[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Prospect of better audio with HDMI V1.3a?Thanks for the interesting post Nick.  Looks like I'll be keeping HDMI away from my audio signal for the forseeable future.[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...DA3100ES internal photosDavid what are you doing to the DA3100?  Are you modding it?[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...New Denon 4308ci over Sony 7100esThe decoding capabilities that you mention the Denon has would be the same as what your BDPS1 is capable of decoding internally. There really is no advantage to having it done in the receiver. I would hang on to the DA7100ES for the time being. Why bother upgrading if you are only making a lateral move? [addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...STR-DA3200ES questionI have just assumed that it did.  No different than any other digital input really.[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...DA7100ES & SS-X series speakersDanijel I don't think you have anything to worry about.  The Mani-2 and all of Totem's speakers can be particularly hard to drive.  They have been known to blow up SimAudio Moon power amps in extreme cases.  Matching Totem speakers with ANY/MOST receivers is a bad idea.   You are going to drive yourself crazy second guessing your decisions.  Don't worry your system is going to be awesome.   [addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Speakers for.... Great news sounds like you got an excellent deal.  The new subs are less musical than the SAWX700 but more suited for LFE.  Still really good value though.[addsig]

Blu-Ray/HD DVDTARGET, SONY BLU-RAY PARTNERSHIPOne more nail in who know who's coffin.  First Blockbuster, now Target.[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...new ES line, lame uber lame. The DG1000 must be a heck of a deal if it uses the same high quality amplification as the 5200!  Wow I did not know that thanks.[addsig]
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...Speakers for....Steve what kind of difference in price are we talking about?  The Sony SSF series speakers sound silly good for "the money".    [addsig]

Amp/Receiver/Speaker...TOP SECRET SPEAKER REVEALED FOR FIRST TIME On 2007-07-22 16:26, Maxxwire wrote: Danijel- In my experience the Amp-Speaker Synergy is the most influential part in determining the overall sound quality of an Audio System and this Synergy is not Brand or Pricepoint dependant. Of the many speakers I've auditioned the most well regarded was the $40,000 B&W Nautilus- I heard the Nautilus with an Ah Noej Tube CD Player with the Upsampling Mod, Dan Wright's SWL 9.0 Hybrid Tube Preamp and powered by legendary John Curl designed Parasound Halo Power Amps all set up in a very ..

I'm sure that I will love them(the speakers), even that they are Sony's . Do you think that I should be using two subs in my main system? How? How do you like your SA-WX900? Danijel I think 1 SAWX900 is all that's really needed for the LFE channel.  That is where I use mine, it's an awesome sub.  I use SAWX700's in parallel with the X70's.  They compliment perfectly.  I run my speakers as large without any bass management and crossover th ..

Can you please explain what you dislike about them? Very concerned, Danijel Danijel I was going to sell them because all though they are quite good they really are not good enough for me to use personally.  Ha ha just kidding . It's because I find myself being an audio snob somtimes.  A good friend of mine has a high end audio shop that sells speakers that are world class and f ..
Amp/Receiver/Speaker...DA 9100es not TA, I-link and S-master Pro still kiCan we please let this thing die and only resurect it when we actually have real evidence something exists.  We all want one I understand that but seriously take a good look at the photos.  There are certain aspects of this unit that really tells us it's age. Where is the USB input on the front? Where is the calibration mic input on the front? Features that have been on ES receivers since we moved into the x2xx series.  Important features these days.  Make no mistake if Sony had a new flagship this close to production it would not be disguised by being ..
