| Off-topic | Blockbuster filing for bankruptcy next month? | It was bound to happen with Netflix and Redbox. I saw my local Movie Gallery closed as well last month. With Netflix providing online streaming with 1 DVD rental a month at $9, it was a matter of time. I currently use Netflix with Roku which is great. I now can watch Starz through Netflix and was able to cancel out my Starz subscription with Comcast. It evened out since Comcast charged me $10 per month for it. |
| Off-topic | Internet Explorer turns 15 years old | I remember using Netscape Communicator (I think it had a Moon icon as the process bar where it would shine). I also remember when IE and Netscape were pretty much neck and neck. Now IE has taken over. Though I started to use Chrome which is a great browser. Look forward to IE 9 and it's new feature. |

There are several, several threads on this issue. In most cases that I have seen Sony will pay 50% of the cost which comes out to about $550 (1/2 of $1100).Honestly,I would take the offer for $350 for the 46EX700. And then buy a refurbished or send your optical block to Tri State Module (Several threads on Tristate module). They will refurbish your optical block for about $300. And then there are threads on Agoraquest on how to replace the optical block. That way you ha .. |

| Television Troublesh... | 6 blinking red lights | Hi Vegaman, I checked and we have the service manual for KV-36FS13 and it's pretty extensive. I checked for the 6 blink issue and can't seem to find the exact issue corresponding with that one. I see the 4 and 5 blink issue. There are a couple of others but they don't have blinks associated wiith them. It does say to do a self diagonistic test to see what the error could be. To run it, the instructions are in the FAQ thread. Let me know if you can run that test and let us know what it shows. |

The GDM-C520K wasn't available in our current library which is why the automated email didn't go out. I'm working on adding more items to the library. |
