There is the way to reload the Vista, with out delete any of the data from the HDD. once you installed in that way, you will be recover the data. but you have reload the applications. step 1: boot from the os cd (bootable CD) while boot from it, there will screen which says upgrade or custom. select the custom and nextscreen shows up partition. select the os partition and reload it. Once vista is installed. go to "C" drive and there will be folder with says windows.old. where you can see all user's data. What happens when you hit either f8, f10 or f11 after you start .. |

There are several members who have changed the lamp driver without any problems. Not sure about the Ballast. Does the new lamp look ok? Sometimes new lamp get damaged during shipping. |

Also, are there any other visible issue that you see around the lamp area. I think this model is prone to warp door for the lamp door due to the heat. Could be the lamp driver but not entirely sure on that. | Television Troublesh... | SONY KDF-55WF655 is it LAMP or LAMP Driver? | 2366 hours seem very low. Generally lamp hours are between 6000 to 8000 before they need to be replaced. Looks like it's power cycling which is an issue with either the lamp driver or lamp bulb. I would try a couple of things. I would run the self diagnostic test which can be seen in the Frequently asked Question thread. This should help determine what the issue is. But usually the first option is to replace the bulb. I would get an official Sony lamp bulb with housing. There are several places to get it. But make sure there is a warranty with the bulb. The longer the better. Generally most ar .. |

| Television Misc and ... | Questions about Bravia 52" | I guess that is a good question on what you watch. If you watch fast action movies and/or sports 120 mhz might be better. Of course, $300 can mean more to certain people then others. But if cost is not an issue and you watch a lot of sports. I would go with 120Hz. |
