Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

    Television TroubleshootingKP-57ws520 Need new G-Board!geosen22009-11-15 23:00
First 650 characters of this postI have the KP-57WS520 and it developed the 9-blink issue. I read the posts here and ordered the two replacement diodes for the G-board. I used a solder gun to heat the diodes while waiting because I read that soldering, or applying heat, can help. It did help and the tv worked normal for several weeks. When it developed the 9-blinks again, I had the parts already. The D6301 was no problem but the D6116 worried me because it is so small. I asked a friend with a lot of soldering experience to help. He took the board but while working on it, lost the diode. I ordered another one. How

First 650 characters of this postHi, Our KP57WS520 TV blinks 5 times and doesn't turn on. I was watching a movie and TV suddendly turned off by itself and then when I try to turn it on, LED light blinks 5 times and doesn't turn on. Its strange because last time when I had 9 blinking issue, LED light keeps on blinking with short rest after 9 blinks until I turn it off but this time after 5 blinks it turns itself automatically. So I'm not really sure if its 5 blinks or less because TV usually blink at least once when turning on. When I turn on the TV, LED blinks two times and I hear 'cl

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  I am pretty sure that D6116 is a surface mounted part located on the foil side of the circuit board.  Did you use the Agoraquest search engine at the bottom of the Forums page to search for \"KP51WS520 9 blinks\"?  If not, try it, a wealth of information will surface.

First 650 characters of this postHello, have a Sony KP-51WS520 (2004 Model) that is giving me the 10 blink problem.  Last year I  replaced the G Board due to the 9 blink issue and the TV has worked great ever since.  Now when I turn it on I have ten blinks, Pause, and 10 blinks again. from what I've read I may need to replace the D Board this time.  Does anyone have the part # for the D Board Complete?  It made it much easier when I ordered the G Board last year ($5 by havingthe #.  Thanks for in advance for the help.

First 650 characters of this postFor the KP51WS520, 9 blinks, pause, 9 blinks, etc. means \"Zero Crossing Detector\" and the probable cause location listed is \"D6116 or D6301 is open (G board).  This is the starting point for a qualified service technician.

First 650 characters of this postI have a KP-57WS520.  There is sound but no video.  Upon turning on, the red light flashes 5 times (sometimes 6 times).  I found plenty of posts for this problem with 9 blinks, but nothing for 5 or 6.  I am fairly mechanically adept and really like the TV (I've had it for 3 years).  In fact, I'm a big fan of Sony products in general.  Anybody know how to fix this?  Thanks in advance. First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  If zcd is the only item with a number in front of it, the actual error code is 9 blinks.  This issue has been discussed in depth on this forum.  Go to the bottom of the Forums page and use the Agoraquest search engine to search for \"KP-57WS520 9 blinks\".  There is plenty to read!  Good luck!
Television TroubleshootingHow do you remove the G board (KP-51WS520)eliptik52008-07-14 07:20
First 650 characters of this postI just bought a new G board to replace the old one in my KP-51WS520 because of the dreaded 9 blinks standby and I had a little trouble taking it out. I unscrewed the two screws on the old G board and took out the two connectors but there's still this one plug that seems to be attached onto the board. I'm afraid I'll damage the plug if I just rip it out. Here is a picture of what I'm talking about: . Thank you so much in advance!

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  I assume the model number is actually KP51WS520?  If so, 9 blinks usually means that there is a problem with the Zero Crossing Detector circuit.  Why don\'t you use the Agoraquest search engine located at the bottom of the forums page to search for \"KP51WS520 9 blinks\", or just \"9 blinks\" and see what your come up with?  I know that this issue has been discussed before.

    Television TroubleshootingCan I replace the G Board myself?dwittig32008-02-29 22:23
First 650 characters of this postI have a KP51WS520.  It won't turn on an it displays 9 blinks.  Reading around has convinced me that I can fix the problem by replacing diodes on the G Board, or by replacing the G Board itself.  After opening the back of the set, replacing the G Board doesn't look to difficult (I am experienced working around the inside of PCs... this looks similar).   I can find a replacement G Board, so is there any reason why I shouldn't do this myself?  If I unplug the TV, I can't electrocute myself.... right? Any advice is apprecia
