Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postSo here's the deal.  I have had this television for about 4 years now and I love it.Today I was playing xbox360 on it and after about 15 minutes of being on it just shuts off.  Then I turn it on, thinking maybe I hit the sleep timer and didn't see it or something.  Then it happens again.....and again and again.  It stays on for 15 minutes or so and then shuts off.  The screen picture slowly fades for a couple seconds and then the television itself turns off followed by 6 red blinking lights.  What is this???  I l

First 650 characters of this postHi Claudio, Currently the TV is on and working. If by \"shuts down\" you mean when I turn the TV off, then there are no blinking lights from the stand by/timer. If you mean when the picture doesn\'t come on when the TV is turned on, sometimes I count 5 blinks, but it is erratic. As I say, right now the TV is on and working. Once the picture comes on, it seems able to run indefinitely.

First 650 characters of this postHello, I have a Sony 53" XBR45 Projection TV.  The sound is perfectly fine but there is no picture.  I have checked the cables and they are fine since they work on other TVs. When I turn on the TV, the standby/timer light blinks 4 times and then stops blinking.  Sometimes there is a red line in the center of the screen curving downwards.  Do I need to replace the bulb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,SPH

First 650 characters of this postHello, please help if you can.  I was watching my TV yesterday and the screen went dead.  At first the TIMER/STAND BY light did not come on when this happened.  Also pressing the power button did nothing.  When I unplugged the power cord from the wall and plugged it back in, the TIMER/STAND BY light blinks once and then came back on then stays lit.  After this the power button still does nothing when pressed.  If I unplug the power cord it repeats the same behavior of blinking once and then comes back on and stays lit.  I to

First 650 characters of this postI have a strange problem that just developed with my Sony KV-32FS13 Trinitron: the audio stays fine, but the picture blanks out to black for a second or two every couple of seconds, and then comes back. the front timer/standby light blinks five times, pauses, and starts blinking again. This blinking does not stop no matter what I do, turn the TV off, unplug it for a couple of hours, etc. The very strange thing is that if I change the picture mode(?) to MOVIE, which has a color temp of WARM, the flashing stops, and the video picture works fine. If I switch to VIVID, SPORTS,

First 650 characters of this postIve been looking for a code but the stndby just blinks I stopped counting after 100. Please help. No, I thought that might be the case, but I started counting the blinks and counted 60 with no pause, so at this point, I\'m assuming it is NOT blinking \"x\" number of times, hesitating and starting again.  Instead, it is a continual blinking of the red timer/standby light.   Manufactured 2000. First 650 characters of this post Hi,  Maybe you guys can help me out. My KV-36FS16 just started getting a bad picture because the color is way off. Everything has a greenish tint. The timer light is blinking 5 times. Do you know what that code is for that specific TV? Do you recommend I take it to a shop? Or call Sony? It is only 5 years old. Thanks so much in advance, I\'m pretty tech savy, but not with TV\'s LOL!! Have a great Holiday!!
