Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postHi I am having problems accessing Guide Plus+ on this recorder. I have configured the recorder as per the user guide: http://pdf.crse.com/manuals/3295080121.pdf Wall socket to Digital Aerial In Digital Aerial Out to Analog Aerial In Analog Aerial Out to TV Aerial Input (As per page 19) Line 3 – TV to TV (Scart) (As per Page 22) Our fairly old CRT TV is connected to the recorder via a scart lead. First 650 characters of this postHi.I have a Sony 32" LCD tv and it has a funny problem.Basically if I connect my laptop or select the Memory Card channel I can see a fantastic quality picture. But whenever I turn the TV on to receive from the arial or from the SCART connected to my freeview receiver I see a very strange picture. I can hear the sound but things are very red and it is similar to a kind "negative" of the image it should be displayed. For instance I noticed that in a football game the ball and the lines on the pitch were black rather than white. And people faces are red as if

First 650 characters of this postHi everyone - new member (not very technically minded) looking for some help in setting up my xb0x 360 and kdf-e50a12u tv. My set up is Sky HD in the HDMI port which is viewed on annalogue channel AV6 and the xbox 360 is plugged in using 5 of its 6 connectors (non scart method) which is viewed through AV3. When I watch my Sky HD it says "1080i/50" when it is first switched on. When I play the xbox360 it says "480i". In the "HDTV Settings" on the xbox 360 any time I change to 720p, 1080i or 1080P and select "yes, keep these settings" the tv then flicks straig

First 650 characters of this postHi, I was watching a DVD movie (connected to SCART), and after finished it I wanted to swith back to cable, but all I can see on all chanels is black screen, not snow/static (like there's no signal from provider). I can see DVD movies, but no TV cable. I navigate through channels, but get only black screens. But switching to DVD, works fine (image+sound).

First 650 characters of this postHello, this problem might be caused by the fact that this TV is intended for use in the UK and not for continental Europe. This UK model does only have a tuner which is capable to receive UHF channels (channel number 21 to 69).Channels 2 to 12 and S1 to S50 are not covered by this set. Due to the hardware limitations of the tuner, there is no possibility to change that.I sugggest you to check with your cable company or landlord which channels are used at the antenna system used.If there must be stations present in the channel range of 21 to 69 and you

First 650 characters of this postHiAt the start of the year I got a KDL 26s2030 LCD TV which is great, however I do have one problem with it, in that when I try to play vhs videos through either scart socket the picture intermitently goes off, but the sound stays on.  I took it back to the shop and we tried 4 different scart cables, and 3 different video players with the same result.  We also tried the video players on 2 different LCD TVs (Not Sony) and we did not get this issue.  We then got replacment sony TV and got the same problem.  Based on all this messing around ot seems that t

First 650 characters of this postI have this TV for about a year now, and the thing is that I never succesfully connected my PC to it. I know how to do it, I have all the plugs, the Scart connector, and everything, because initially I had an older TV that worked very well with my PC. It was very easy then, I just connected them together, swich the TV on AV, and that was it. But now, nothing works! I\'ve tried every little channel, every little display settings with my PC, and nothing! All I need to know is if after I connect my PC to the TV, do I have to do some changes to the TV settings in the TV menu, or wha

First 650 characters of this postHi, Did you ever get this to work? I actually have exactly the same setup (32FQ70 plus ATI 9800 Pro) and I experience exactly the same problem (i.e. works when going through AV4 but when connected to AV3 via a scart adaptor I only get composite). However, if I temporarily add a load to the composite connector in the scart adaptor at the same time (like a long composite cable without hooking it in the other end), the TV switches to S-Video and stays like that after removing the temporary composite cable. Unfortunately the TV goes back to composite if switching to another

First 650 characters of this postI\'ve recently got this as a second hand item to replace my ageing KV-32W1FU.While cosmetically, and on paper, this should be a superior model, I\'m not at all happy with the picture quality to say the least. It\'s very grainy and no where near as sharp as I\'d expect from a newer SONY, and thats not even taking the 100hz scanning into consideration! A particular problem I notice while watching thru Freeview is, the picture quality is very prone to a sort of slow flickering, fading in & out effect and the corners of the screen seem dark around the edges

First 650 characters of this postYes, but that\'s part of the problem... there seem to be too many alternatives! The supplied manual is pretty useless in this respect. I\'ve managed to connect a separate digital tuner as follows: - The recorder (DAR-RH7000) is connected directly to the scart AV2 \'smartlink\' port of the TV. This AV2 port on the TV \'grabs\' anything that\'s being watched on the screen (be it from AV1, AV2, the HDMI or S Video ports) and sends it to the Recorder. This means that I can\'t connect the tuner directly to the Line 3 port on the recorder - as recommended in the manual - because

First 650 characters of this postHi there, I have a RDR-HXD710 DVD recorder with built in Freeview tuner. My usual digital TV input is cable, supplied by ntl (I\'m UK-based). My problem is that when I try to autotune the DVD recorder it says it can\'t find any channels, even though I\'m able to watch all the digi channels through Line 3 of the DVD. So the digi signal seems to be passing through the DVD, but it doesn\'t register it... I confess I\'m no expert so I may be missing something basic, but I\'ve followed the cabling schematic from the Sony support site and I\'m fairly sure it\'s hooked up cor
