But whenever I turn the TV on to receive from the arial or from the SCART connected to my freeview receiver I see a very strange picture. My set up is Sky HD in the HDMI port which is viewed on annalogue channel AV6 and the xbox 360 is plugged in using 5 of its 6 connectors (non scart method) which is viewed through AV3. | First 650 characters of this post | Hello,this problem might be caused by the fact that this TV is intended for use in the UK and not for continental Europe.This UK model does only have a tuner which is capable to receive UHF channels (channel number 21 to 69).Channels 2 to 12 and S1 to S50 are not covered by this set. i have a sony tv model kv28ws2u
A few weeks ago when i turned it on it had no picture and no blinking lights.i sent it to a tv repair shop to have it fixed all seems to works well.But i used to have my pc connected to the tv using a scart connection on avi2.
I have a freeview box connected on avi 1 this works but i get the same input/channel on the RGB channel which was also blank before, and can not get my pc to work on any avi channel nor using thr RGB on the front of the set.

I know how to do it, I have all the plugs, the Scart connector, and everything, because initially I had an older TV that worked very well with my PC. I actually have exactly the same setup (32FQ70 plus ATI 9800 Pro) and I experience exactly the same problem (i.e. works when going through AV4 but when connected to AV3 via a scart adaptor I only get composite). However, if I temporarily add a load to the composite connector in the scart adaptor at the same time (like a long composite cable without hooking it in the other end), the TV switches to S-Video and stays like that after removing the temporary composite cable. I have a RDR-HXD710 DVD recorder with built in Freeview tuner. My usual digital TV input is cable, supplied by ntl (I\'m UK-based).
My problem is that when I try to autotune the DVD recorder it says it can\'t find any channels, even though I\'m able to watch all the digi channels through Line 3 of the DVD. So the digi signal seems to be passing through the DVD, but it doesn\'t register it...
