Keyword Tips If you are search for "50we610 blinking" try "we610 blinking". If you search for "5 blinking" try "five blinking". If you search for "Sony KDF-55wf655" try "55wf655" or better yet "wf655". Try searching with general search term first and then add more specific keywords to narrow it down.

Recommended after display the search results. I would open the links in a new window. Read the postings and when done close the window. And open the next posting that you want to read in a new window, close that window and repeat. This is probably the most efficient way.

Also, try the new Google Search which searches the entire Agoraquest website. Click here

For Televisions issues, red/green blinking lights, vertical lines, D Board, Lamp Driver and more.
I would vist our "Frequently Asked Questions for Sony Products" forum and read the "Television Trouble Shooting Information Packages" thread. There are several service bulletin packages that can help resolve those issues.
For Televisions issues with blue, green, optical block, extending warranty or other related issues
I would visit our new Sony Alert/Warranty recall section at Sony Recall/Warranty Section

First 650 characters of this postWelcome to Agoraquest!  Unfortunately, 1 blink isn\'t an error code.  The valid error codes are 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 13.  There would be a 3 second pause between each set of blinks.

Television TroubleshootingSony KV34HS420 turning off by itselfnitejones32009-11-07 11:37
First 650 characters of this postWe purchased a Sony Wega KV-34HS420 4 years ago, with an extended warranty.  Recently, it began turning off by itself.  There's a loud click, no picture or sound, there are multiple blinks (5, maybe?) and then it either turns back on with full picture and sound or clicks over and over before turning off.  If I wait a minute and turn it back on, it does turn on.  Then it goes through the entire process again.   It will do this repeatedly for about 15-20 minutes and then it'll work for a few hours straight without any problem. &n

First 650 characters of this postTalked to Sony, took the kdl52xbr9 for 400. Tried to get expedited shipping and extended warranty, but they wouldn't go for it and xbr8 request was as if I was speaking vulcan(it's as if they are reading from a script and won't deviate unless you try to go to the next level i.e. writing a letter to corporate exec office or file a lawsuit like some have done) I just don't have it in me to fuss over $400 for a NEW 52"xbr9 from a 46"xbr5, don't get me wrong, but one thing I've learned is to pick your battles, they could have said "too bad so sad" you're out of warranty, NO SOUP FOR YOU! First 650 characters of this postI have a Sony KDL40S2010 USA television with the led blinks 4 times.I did some troubleshooting on the inverter board 1-789-500-32 and checked okay, then I checked the output voltage on the G2 board and I measured about 1.5vac. I believe I need to replace the G2 board the service manual calls for part no A1169591E but the board that is in my tv is A1169591F. I have seen vendors selling power supplys for kdl40S2010 with letters C, D, E, and F.Can I use any one of these boards?

First 650 characters of this postThank you Jehill I was able to locate IC9101, IC9201, IC9301 in CR, CG and CB board. I also located IC452 on the A board. I would like to just purchase those ic chips and replace but even if I have experience with soldering, my soldering experience is not that great to change IC chips. So I rather just replace boards instead. I could've save much money but its better than paying too much to service people. So, I did some research again with your tip in mind. Instead of changing all boards, I would like to make educated guess to find most probable board to replace.

First 650 characters of this postI have the same problem.  Blinks 9 times, does not turn on.  I removed the G-Board and located D6301 and D6116.  How hard/easy are these to replace?  I located the parts through partsstore.com although the D6116 has a different parts number.  Is the 8-719-074-43, a suitable replacement?  Any easy to follow instructions for replacing these?  Can\'t afford to send for repair right now.
